PLAN ELEMENTS: MISSION and VISION

When a group of stakeholders meets to define a prevention plan for their community, defining a shared mission and vision for their work build a strong foundation for collaboration and action. Defining a shared vision for a better future is a process can build trusting relationships and articulate clear goals that will be important as the work moves forward. The mission is a concise statement of the purpose for the prevention collaborative, while the vision reflects the shared aspirations of stakeholders.
