Celebrating 1,000 CalPrevents Members
We’re thrilled to celebrate an exciting milestone for CalPrevents: 1,000 members! Since it was first conceptualized in 2022, it has grown into a thriving community focused around child abuse prevention and family strengthening in California. While CalPrevents was initially envisioned as a prevention planning tool, it quickly expanded into a collaborative space for the full system of care, including community organizations and lived experts, to align and act together. Members have shared that this network has led to improved communication, clearer information flow, and deeper connection among and across partners. CalPrevents is now home to 20 private collaboration spaces, which include statewide groups like the Statewide CAPC Network and California Family Resource Association, as well as local collaboratives working to enhance prevention within counties.
This milestone reflects the commitment, ideas, and leadership of everyone who shows up in this space. Please join us in celebrating with the following video.
